The largest access hatches to the silo
The oval-shaped hatch measures 20 x 35.5 inches (50.8 x 90.17 cm), making it easy for people of all sizes to enter the silo. This size also provides more than five cubic feet (0.15 m3) of airflow for ventilation.
Specially designed latches hold the hatch cover securely in place, and the latches open effortlessly when needed.
In the open position, the hatch cover fits snugly against the silo roof, so the hatch will not close in a gust of wind.
Large diameter loading funnel
The loading hopper of Sukup silos has a large diameter of 38 inches (96.52 cm).
The hopper cover consists of two conical parts, which gives the cover more strength compared to silos from other manufacturers.

The exclusive mounting bracket acts as a stiffener
Sukup Silo Brackets 22 inches (56 cm) high simultaneously perform the functions of a silo support post and a stiffener of the silo interior chamber.
The additional length of the bracket reduces the vertical load on the bottom of the silo wall by 30%.
The two-piece “L”-shaped bracket transfers the vertical load directly to the concrete base on which the silo is installed, and not to the lower supporting part of the silo walls, thereby preventing damage to the bracket and / or lower lining sheets.
The clamp also prevents vertical and horizontal movement of the silo walls and the unrolling of the lining sheets.
